They combine comfort with a superbly secluded location. Festive decorations and tree are supplied for Christmas bookings. Beside the properties there is a footpath that leads to farmland. Close by are sandy beaches, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath (NT), whilst Aldeburgh is a little further. Castles, a wildlife park and Sutton Hoo are easily accessible. Farm shop 2 miles and market town of Halesworth 3 miles, shop and village pub within 1 mile.

Two bedrooms. Very comfortable open plan sitting room with electric 'wood burner effect' fire and kitchen area. Spacious sun lounge with dining area. Double bedroom with ensuite shower room/WC. Twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom/WC with corner bath and shower attachment.

Reviews
For the city dweller the experience is relief at finding absolute peace, some may experience worry that the cottages are isolated but take heart in being able to see nature as its intended. The stars are visible at night due to the lack of light pollution and for the absolute chill out the cottage cannot be beaten. The cottage is well equipped, clean, the beds are very comfortable and the owners are available should there be a problem. Many local walks and places to eat. Halesworth is ten minutes away for any shopping/motor fuel you may need. For those that want a rural holiday, it is the ideal location.

A very good 'away from it all cottage' yet close to all amenities. Lovely walks from the doorstep, ideal for dogs as garden fully enclosed.

This beautiful county is situated to the south of Norfolk, with Cambridgeshire to the west, Essex to the south, and the North Sea to the east. It has much to offer the visitor, including the wetlands of the Broads, the Wool Towns, and a coastal strip to the east known as “The Sandlings”. There are over 5000km of marked paths as well as national cycle routes, along with country parks, nature reserves such as the Trimley Marshes, and picnic sites.
Suffolk’s notable towns include Ipswich (the county town), Felixstowe, Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.
West Suffolk is famed for its archaeological discoveries, especially that at Sutton Hoo in 1939. A grassy mound was found to be a ship burial ground containing a collection of Anglo-Saxon treasures, including a Sword of State, a shield, a helmet, gold and silver bowls, jewellery and a lyre. The site is now owned by the National Trust.
